Community Groups and Activities - St Peter's Church Darwen

Participate

There are a number of groups, classes and social activities based around St Peter’s Church. We invite anyone who is interested to join in.

From Our Vicar

St Peter’s Church (formerly Holy Trinity) is the town centre church in Darwen, Lancashire. The church and parish centre are open most days. Visitors are guaranteed a warm welcome to any of the services or events taking place information about which is found on this website.

The church family seeks to maintain the church building as a place of welcome and hospitality for all and this is reflected in the number of different groups based in both the church and parish centre as well as outreach work into the town centre and parish.

At the heart of St Peter’s is an understanding of the Gospel of Love and Inclusion. All are welcome here in this place.

Rev Canon Fleur Green
Vicar

  • We were greeted by the vicar who gave us some of the history of the church then allowed us to walk around and view the inside at our leisure.
