ABOUT US
OUR VISION
At the heart of St Peter's is an understanding of the Gospel of Love and Inclusion. All are welcome here.
WHAT WE DO
The church family seeks to maintain the church building as a place of welcome and hospitality for all and this is reflected in the number of different groups based in both the church and Parish Centre as well as outreach work into the town centre and parish.
OUR COMMUNITY
St Peter's (formerly Holy Trinity) is the town centre church in Darwen, Lancashire. Visitors are guaranteed a warm welcome to any of the services or events taking place.
Volunteers needed – readers, Communion Assistants, Interceders
Although St Peter’s is blessed with over a couple of dozen volunteers who take on all sorts of jobs and roles for our church community.
Rev Alison is hoping to recruit more people to help as readers, interceders (leading our Intercessions) and Communion Assistants. Alison is planning to offer training for Communion Assistants and, among them, those who are willing to act as servers during our Eucharists in February.
If you feel you could help us in any of these or other ways please have a word with Alison. THANK YOU!

A big thankyou to everyone who helped make it possible. And a thank you to all our friends who came to see Alison being Instituted
